The LG Optimus One Cell Phone - Enhanced Web Experience For The Busy Surfer

By Horace Wisconsin Xavier

If you are searching for a way to stay in contact with your friends locally or online, then the Optimus One is worth your time to explore. If you are heavily involved with the many Google services and apps, then this Android device may be to your liking. As far as OS software is concerned, you can rest assured that Google is constantly working to improve their product. You may want to take note of the fact that there seems to be room for improvement when it comes to overall processing prowess, but it really depends on exactly what you are doing. Keep reading to discover more about the Optimus One and all it has to offer.

The android OS by Google, a highly technological system, is the operating system within the Optimus One. Android phones are fairly new on the market and therefore having an Optimus One will make your cell phone that much more unique. One of the primary reasons that people get a smartphone is that they can download and use apps to do various things. Applications, similar to those used by Apple, are downloadable from the Android market but only work with Google's OS. Quick and easy to use, Google services can be accessed in an almost automated fashion. If you are a Flash user, you will probably be disappointed, however, because the Optimus cannot run them.

Let's take a quick look at the camera specs used in the LG Optimus One. The picture quality is good as would be expected with the type of camera used in this device, a 3MP camera. If you want to take night shots, then this is not the camera for you because it simply is absent any flash capability. The important thing to bear in mind with feature-driven capabilities such as a camera in a smart phone is you will not have everything. Part of those design issues are perhaps why the Optimus One is lacking in basic image stabilization. So just use the phone camera for shots that are not truly important to you.

Having a built-in GPS in your phone is a superb tool, especially if you get lost in the city or countryside. So in that respect, it is sufficient for most needs. This phone requires many hours of charging which may be inconvenient for people that use their phone every day. A great feature with the navigation system on the Optimus One is that it has voice recognition. There are several different choices for the display on your GPS. Driving will be very easy as you follow along with the street views that help you drive to your location.

The Optimus One is friendly with the Android Market which means access to huge amounts of apps that are made available because of it. That is just one example of how there are extensive integration facilities built into the Optimus One. You will need to use the LG App Advisor in order to access all those apps, though. In the end, we feel the LG Optimus is more than capable of providing a rich user experience at the right price.

Having a cell phone is absolutely useful. Are you aware what's much more useful? Getting two! This is exactly why many individuals choose to purchase another mobile phone, and when they do, they usually select the HTC Wildfire. Check with your telephone shop for more information.
